I have read some of the Egyptian, Greek and Roman gods and goddesses and other mythological figures, and some of those tales are most amazing and astounding. But the most amazing story I ever read or heard is the story of the Lord Jesus Christ - which is true! When I consider who He is, What He became, what He accomplished, how He accomplished it and for whom, my mind and heart are overwhelmed with amazement.
It is absolutely impossible for the finite mind to begin to fathom such free, effectual love, such infinite wisdom and power, such indescribable holiness and grace, such ineffable righteousness and peace as is manifest in His person and work; in His condescension and humiliation, in His sufferings and death, in His resurrection and ascension, and in His present enthronement and glorious return for His own. AMAZING!
If you would have your mind, heart and soul overwhelmed by awesome truth of divine mystery and glory, study and think upon the Lord Jesus Christ. I urge you to look to HIM! Look to Him now, to HIM alone, and to Him always.
