When David encouraged Solomon and gave him instruction about building the temple, he assured him that God would both be with him and supply him with everything he needed, men, materials and money, until he finished the work God gave him to do. Solomon believed God and began the work. And he finished it, according to God's promise. God has not changed! If he has called us to do a work for him, he will be with us and supply everything we need to do his work, until our work is done.
