As we grow older and the culture around us changes, it would be easy for us to condemn the present age and pine for the "good old days." There, indeed, have been times in which it was more pleasant to live than at other times. But God has had His prophets and His people in every age and every culture. This is still our Father's world and all that happens in it is by His sovereign decree; and according to that decree, all His people shall be saved and kept until they are with Him. So let us rejoice that, in our day, no matter how "good" or "bad" it may be; God has chosen us to be of those called out from this world and saved by His grace.
