The key word in the book of Hebrews is the word "better," Heb. 1:4. We have a better hope, a better testament, established on better promises and a better sacrifice. When will men and women lose interest in religious ceremonies and sacrifices? When will men and women let go of the old and lay hold of the new? When will men and women lose confidence in the flesh and find assurance in Christ? When they see something better...Christ is that something! He is the believer's wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. He is our Altar, our Priest, our Sacrifice and our Intercessor. "In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and we are complete in Him."
