"BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD!
Can you imagine what must have gone through John's mind when he saw the Lord Jesus Christ walking towards him? This is the One in whom all the Old Testament prophets spoke! This is the One in whom John had been sent to prepare the way! This is the One in whom all God's sheep needed so that they might be saved from their sins! Ths is the One in whom every person will bow! This is God incarnate! There is no question about it, John was thrilled to finally lay eyes upon the "Lamb slain from before the foundation of the world." The same Lord Jesus Christ stands before you at this very moment in all His glory as He rules and reigns the all sovereign monarch of the universe. Behold Him! Behold Him as your only hope of salvation! Behold Him as your Redeemer! Behold Him as your Advocate! Behold Him as your Rock, your Fortress and your Deliverer! Behold Him today in mercy and grace. Are you as thrilled as John when he beheld Christ? Well, if you are one of His sheep you will never get over the wonder of His grace. His sheep are never happier than to behold their Shepherd and follow Him.
