A DETERMINATION TO WORSHIP

Doug Weaver

Public worship is of utmost importance to the believer. David realized this for his writings bear this out. He says, "As for me, I will come into thy house into the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple" (Psalm 5:7). This was David's intent, purpose and determination. Now he could not force others to worship "But", he says, "as for me, I will come into thy house." That is to say "I will come into the public assembly of God's children in the place appointed." And when he came into the place of worship, he was determined to worship. He says, "In thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple." David was determined to come together with God's children in the place of worship, so that he might worship God in heaven, in the temple of His holiness. How determined are you to worship?
