The Greek word penpateo translated 'walk' in the New Testament, is always used figuratively in the epistles. It means: to live, and denotes the course, tenor and direction of that life. The believer's walk is to be such as is honoring to the Lord Jesus Christ and is to "adorn the doctrines of God our Saviour". Our walk is not aimless, neither are we without directions concening our walk. When, In the Scriptures, we are told to walk, we are also given instructions on how we are to walk as well as the gospel principles which motivate our walk. Here are some Scriptures concerning our walk. We are to walk:

3. In honesty Rom 13:13. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
4. By faith 2 Cor. 5:7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
5. In good works Eph 2: 10. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
