Your servant bless with power, Lord,
To preach to us, Your gospel word.
Enable him to preach the thing
That brings our hearts to Christ, our King.
As he proclaims the gospel news,
God, grant us fresh, delightful views
Of Jesus Christ, the bleeding Lamb,
And in our hearts, exalt His name.
Now fill our hearts with burning love
For Christ, who intercedes above.
