Trusting self and not the Christ;
Look into the written Word,

Suff'ring to put sins away,
By His death the debt erased!
Satisfied is Holy God,
Giving life by what He did!
Put your faith in Jesus Christ,
With your whole heart trust in Him;
Cast it all upon the Son,
Leave it there and follow Him.
Jesus cannot fail to keep
Souls that come to Him by faith;
If He kept us in the cross,
He shall keep us in our needs.
Lord, your presence we do seek,
Trusting that this pleases you;
Burn our heart increase our faith,
So we all can speak of you.
Jesus is Alive indeed!
He's the One who died for me!
And He's pleased to come to us,
Saying "Peace be unto you".
