Crown Him the Lord of Life, The Lamb upon the throne
He lived and sacrificed His life, To save me as His own.
To Him all praise must be Alone He stands worthy
Of all the praises I could give, His saving majesty.
Crown Him the Lord of heaven, The Man who's God's own Son
He rose ascended to the throne, in human flesh and bone.
Amazing is God's grace, He gave the highest place
And now He bids poor souls to Him, through Him who purchased grace.
Crown Him the Lord of freedom, Blest liberty He bought
The Law He satisfied in full, There's freedom in God's court!
No sin is stained on me, I paid on the cursed tree?
By faith I know God's Law declares, "Loose him he's answered me!"
Crown Him your Lord right now, Right now bow to His Word
And see the Risen Sovereign Lord, Is gentle still to serve.
Tear down the doubtful wall, Christ Blood o'er came the fall
So now receive why God crowned Him, Repent's His gracious call.
