Father, in vain I hide from Thee, This world's an empty shell;
Jesus the Christ is life to me, Rid me of death and hell.
Pour out the knowledge of the Blood, Unveil thy cleansing pow'r;
Not me, I plea only Thy love, Brings light my darkest hour.
Dear Lord, to thee I'm drawn to cry, What grace compels my will!
Never remove this plea for pow'r, 'Til grace has been fulfilled.
Enthroned is my Lord Jesus Christ, To Him all knees must bow;
Thank you that through His sacrifice, I long to bow right now.
