THE PURPOSE OF GOD

Is 14:24 "The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand."
The purpose of God, Is worked in the earth
It is redemption, From trouble and woe;
This purpose of grace is confirmed in the Son,
He's saving His people by all that is done.
This purpose of God, Must all come to pass
That which causes pain, Shall serve us at last;
Though Satan would crush us by God we've been blessed
And soon we shall worship where none can oppress.
This purpose of God, His will shall fulfill
He uses evil, For His purposes
Then when time is perfect He'll pour out His wrath
We'll see our foe punished his schemes all unmasked.
This purpose of God, Is fixed and decreed
We're clear from the Judge, To judge sin with Him.
This priv'lege of grace bought by Christ precious blood,
His motive to save is His purpose of love.
